Welcome to E3house.org

APA and building partners throughout the Gulf Coast are showcasing the benefits of raised floor construction using sustainable engineered wood and other products in a variety of home styles and special projects. Building professionals can learn more about our projects on this site. Homeowners can research the advantages of raised floors and locate a raised floor builder at www.raisedfloorliving.com.

What is E3?

Elevate: Raise the house and it becomes a home. E3 project homes feature raised wood floor systems, where porches and decks are natural amenities adding usable living space.

Educate: APA and its partners will conduct open houses and seminars for building professionals that will examine design, construction and material choices.

Endure: Many of the demonstration projects feature the latest in green products and applications. Engineered wood, a renewable building material, is a good choice for its ability to meet national green building guidelines.
